What this site stores
Airports you save are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us. If you use the "Near me" button, your location is used once in your browser to sort the airport list and is not transmitted or stored. The email address you submit through a sign-up form is used only to send the announcements you asked for and can be removed by replying to any message or writing to hello@mobileweather.com.
Third-party services
Weather data is fetched from NOAA's Aviation Weather Center through our own server-side cache, so your browser talks to mobileweather.com rather than to the government servers directly. Where the climatology tool falls back to Open-Meteo, your browser requests data from Open-Meteo directly and their terms apply. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, whose edge network logs requests for security and performance in the usual way. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to count page views. If advertising is ever introduced, this page will describe the provider and the controls available to you before any ad appears.
